AC compressor? hot air instead of cold - updated audio/video
Hello guys,
I have a 2005 LR3 HSE with 97,000 miles.
Today the AC is blowing only hot air and I notices a rattle noise in the engine bay. Are those symptoms related to the AC compressor being fried?
Are there any other troubleshooting suggestions to see if it is not the compressor?
If the compressor went bad, How difficult would be this task? Any tech documentation around would be appreciated and some experience would be appreciated too.

get the Freon checked. It is the first place to start. My 2005 was cool on the driver's side, not on the passenger side. Checked the Freon, had 1/2 pound, need 2+ pounds. Got it filled and all is good. Phil
