Thank you ..you guys are fantastic.. ..when starting no plumb of smoke no oil in tailpipe and seems to drive and pick up well..we drove 225! miles today..
WI'll check for oil in throttle body and just do the PCV Valve anyway as he may not have been sent Oem part..Ill get the part this time.
And ask about found a compression test.
I don't like it consuming 1 qt of oil every 1000 milesIf time came to redo engine seals gaskets ect..would you do that or just get another engine ?
HOw much approx do you think it would be going those routes ?.

Cant say anything until a test really. A compression test is sorta like going to a doctor and how they almost always do a blood pressure test. Its just a baseline that needs to be known before jumping the gun on anything.

Also make sure you check your oil frequency and when the engine is cold. If you do this you will get a better idea. If you check when cold the next time when warmed up you will have different results. Also the dip stick from minimum to maximum I think is 3/4 of a quart, maybe only half? Look that up to get an idea of consumption rate. Basically track things for a while in a consistent manner.
