If it was purchased for a Discovery, it should have come with a wiring kit that plugs into the original connections. You will need an Ariel kit to match up, available on eBay. Now if you are adding it to a HSE model that is a whole new ball game.

Not totally sure, but I think the basic radio does not use fibre optic cables. When I did mine I used the EONON double din radio (Android based) from eBay and it came with all bits, connectors and cables, had to buy the Ariel kit though to join the original to the kit supplied one. Reversing camera was one purchased from eBay and fits into the number plate light fitting. Running the cables for reversing camera was interesting

You will need the brand so that wiring matches the radio connections plus will match the Discovery connections. Can you return it and get one for a Discovery as there are many out there

You will need the adapter harness that includes the fibre optic (MOST) cable, most Asian origin head units come with ISO plugs as standard so in most cases just the one harness is required.
If you have sat nav then it may or may not work depending on the harness kit you get, in the UK you would get a kit by Connects2 and in Australia i used the fitting kit by Aerpro .

Google is your friend - depends on what came with it, any photo's as that may give us a clue. Front of product and rear of product may help. I used Aerpro for mine as well
