air spring/bag replacement on strut front

air spring/bag replacement on strut front
air strut removal and air bag replacement issue.
Removed front air strut with no issues, but having a problem trying to replace the air bag.
The air bag has a nut 24mm which i removed no issues, but every instruction from this point says tap out the airbag...the problem is the thing is stuck i mean stuck on. the rubber crush washer on top of strut is not budging.
anyone you has replaced the airbag on these lmk how you got that old air bag off.
