Default Air Tank Leak

Changing out a few parts under the Rover yesterday and my buddy noticed a small pin hole leak in the front of the air tank. Brazed it up and added it to the list of things to replace... what struck me, was the poor location these tanks were located at. The spray from the left front wheel is constantly blasting against the front of the tank... that, and living on the rust coast dooms these components to premature failure. Will definitely be fabricating a shield to try and protect it in the future. Will see how much a replacement is but I may try and get a local shop to fab up an aluminum or stainless tank and be done with it.

You could always just get rock sliders that cover it. If you ever off-road it, you'd want them anyway.

Better yet, you could just move to the west were we don't know what this 'rust' you refer to is anyway.
