Default Anyone make these for the lr3???

Sry if this is posted already but i couldnt find much on the topic. So Iv been trying to find, your basic offroading 10 hole black steel rims that meet the weight requirments of the 05 lr3, (dont know what this is?) and neeeding some suggestions for finding a, 18x8 X 5x4.75 rims if available, my lr3 came with blak RRS 20" and i really dont want to mess them up any worse than i already have. If i had the 18's would they get less scrathced up? (probably? maybe?) Say im running 285x60x20 in comparison with 285x75x18 mtr's, (If they make those im just throwin those numbers out there) what would be better, should i just stick with the 20's or should i try and trade a fellow lr owner for some 18's? Steels? I like the way my 20's look way better i just dont want to mess um up? Any suggestions would b great.

Google lucky8. They sell steel wheels. 18x8 and a few other sizes for the lr3.

If you really like the 20's why would you change? Are you looking to off road with the 18's (or maybe use them just in the winter months) and then swap back to the others for city driving? If it is jsut a matter of not wanting to mess up the 20's, you should park the whole truck in the garage and never drive it, that way you dont mess up any part of it. If you like the 20's, roll em. A truck you can't drive is worth less than a truck that won't drive,

hahaha no thanx, she loves to get dirty. im thinkin of selling the 20's and getting the steel 18's mostly for +offset and offroad reasons and to run full time. I say I like the way they look cause the stock lr3 wheels i think look like crap. I guess my real question is how do the twentys hold up compared to the steels for long term abuse from offroading. (i dont want to mess them up anymore than i already have cause then i cant sell them for as much just wondering what poeples think.......pretty sure im goin w/ steels unless theres a good reason not too.

Makes way more sense now. You'll have to forgive me, even in Colorado I never saw an LR3/4 on the trail. (that wasn't a shot, it was the truth) I am sure someone will correct me, but I think your RRS wheels are alloy and therefor softer than the steel you are looking to replace them with. I too am looking at steel wheels for my D2, but manly because they are cheep!

I'm also looking for a set of steelies for offroad use, stuck with OEM 19's and can't get good mud tires for them anymore, I run 255/55 r19 goodyear MT/r's but they don't make them anymore. BTW I take my LR3 on the trails with the local jeep club and they love seeing it work, and can't believe where I can go. I have trashed the stock wheels on rocks, so getting smaller wheels would be great(also there is much more selection for good tires in 18's), just haven't found 18's that will fit over the brakes. If you find anything out let me know.

so looking at it a bit more i dont think the 17's will work unless u run a wheel spacer, and think we all know: there crap! Iv been looking tons for the steelies with no luck, so im gonna tell you without a doubt go with lucky 8's. I am, i bought some sliders from them, and they are top shelf, its hard to assume they would sell anything less for our vehicles . there for our cars and seem to b the only correct way of doin it, and you probly wont find anything else anywere. (Unless u go custom)

Nelson1, did you wind up getting those 18" steel wheels from Lucky8? If so, how do you like them?
