Hi all,

My name is Martin, a Dutch expat in San Francisco. I am in the market for a nice LR3 as an adventure vehicle. I live in San Francisco in one of these houses with a ‘lower’ garage.

My buddy’s 2002 Disco II (he started the LR virus in me) just fits in my garage with about 1/2 inch height clearance.

Before I spend >10k on a car and come home to realize that it doesn’t fit, I want to make sure it does fit. I looked at all the dimensions online and it seems to be lower than the Disco II... but hey it is an LR so they could easily be 2 inch off. I know I can engage Acces Mode, but one day I will forget and potentially ruin the roof and garage door mechanism.

Question: is there anyone in the Bay Area that I can buy dinner in SF while he/she parks the LR3 in my garage?
