Default ARB bumper and light changes?

Some day i'd like to switch out my front bumper for an ARB. Here's my question - what do you do when you need to change out a bulb? Do you have to take the entire bumper off? Sorry if it's a dumb question; new to all this.

Thanks,
kevin

Not sure what you drive. But its accessible from under the bonnet just behind the light fixture

Um... an LR3. Sorry, thought that was a given, what with my signature and the forum in which i posted this. To change any of the bulbs in the the headlamp arrays, i have to pull the grille first and then remove the light assemblies, both of which would appear tricky just looking at the ARB setup. But, as i said, i'm new to all of this, so maybe i just missed something.

I've heard negative comments on the Australia forums because of handling changes. I opted for the Devon 44 (d44) hidden winch mount from Lucky8llc.

This option replaces the inner bumper with a substantial piece of hardware. While it will not protect the skin of the bumper, it does not negatively effect the handling. I am loving it, and really hard to tell it is there, although you can feel the weight.

best regards

Sorry on my mobile neither the forum or your sig show up.

not sure about fittment on the lr3 but on my d2 the ARB would allow the headlights to come forward. I would try contacting them. Ask them not only about fitment but for a schematic so you can compare your own measurements of the space you normally need to pull the lights.

Bringing this thread back from the dead...

Just installed the ARB winch bumper on my LR3. The bumper makes it a serious PITA to change bulbs. The bars obstruct the light housings and they won't come out. You can loosen them and pop them out 3-4 inches, enough to be able to change the corner wedge bulbs, and the main bulb, but from what I can tell, not enough clearance to change out the high-beam bulbs.

I twisted the housing all around to try to find some geometric trick to getting it out and was unsuccessful. Only way I can see to change the high-beam bulbs is to remove the bumper completely. Kind of unfortunate if you ask me, I wish ARB offered a version with just the center section, minus the bars around the headlights.
