Default Aux Heater Coolant Leak near LH rear tire

Anyone have any experience with coolant leak behind the driver side rear tire? I assume it is from the Aux heater. I have not removed the wheel well cover yet to have a look.

Thanks for any help

That's going to be a bugger. Are you sure it's coolant and not condensation from the AC. I think it routes through the wheel well. Some discussions about re-routing it and the A/C lines have been had for larger tires. It seems like recently there were some pictures as well that would help.

Probably not much help, I couldn't find the post I was thinking of.

Default O rings leaking perhaps?

Below is one link I did find related to the D3. It speaks of O ring leaks and provides part numbers.

The other problem is that the AC pipes to the rear heater have over time, corroded, (usually near the rear left wheel well), and potentially have to be replaced. If so, this is not easy.
