RE: AUX Input- How to fabricate one?
I feel your pain! I also have a base model 06' LR3, and can verify that there are no AUX input jacks of ANY kind ANYWHERE in the vehicle (so please don't ask me to look behind the center console). I'm trying to have a nav system with iPod capability installed, but even the custom shop (projecttwocustoms) is having a hard time finding a way to integrate the audio out from the nav, into the AUX in of the stereo. The stereo on the 05-06 V6 base model LR3 does have an AUX button, and when you press the button the stereo switches to AUX mode. Problem is that there is no way to harness into this. Bbear describes splicing into the harness, but the description is vague. Any more detailed info to tap into the AUX capability?
