I own a 2005 LR3 and have been very frustrated with using the AUX input for my iPod. The volume is too low. I have finally found an inexpensive fix that works. I wrote an article about it on my blog. If you're interested, you can see it here:

Go to:
Settings --> And turn Sound Check Off.

Worked on mine.

What about the audio connectivity module that LR offers? Does anyone here have it or tried it? I see it listed in accessories on the LR site, but no pic is shown. I'm curious about where it mounts and how well it works.
