B1B78 System Pressure Ventilation
Hi
Does anybody have any idea about this?
So I was literally in the Rover about to leave on a trip and notice the aircon is not cool. I stuck a thermometer in the air vent and it was reading around 75 when I had the aircon set to as cold as it can go and full fan.
I checked the Low pressure side of the system with a regas pressure tester and it showed in range for R134 etc.
I read the codes on the IID Tool and this came up.
A couple of weeks ago the aircon was not cooling very well and I regassed the system after checking for codes with the tool (and there were none at that time).
I should add, I just realised a couple of weeks ago I noticed condensation dripping from the behind the rear tire on the drivers side. I hadn't noticed this before. I read a bit about it and figure its from the rear aircon pipes?
Any ideas?
Thank you!

So, it turns out there was too much refrigerant in the system, hence the code was thrown.
The mechanic evacuated the system and re-gassed with the correct amount and everything appears to be working correctly (I've just driven 1,800 miles in the last 3 days without a problem).
So it appears to by my fault. What is strange, and what I've still not worked out is a couple of weeks ago, after about 10 days of road trips, on our way back home we noticed the air con was not cold. And, when I checked the system, it appears to be low according to the instructions on the air con pressure gauge I bought. It was only a low pressure side though so I guess the lesson learned is to check both high and low - and also learn what I'm doing
Thanks, Abran for your reply. I wanted to follow up in case anybody else gets this issue because I found very little information about it online.
Cheers
