Default Backup camera?

I'm considering new LR3 HSE. Dealer says they can install a backup camera (~$300 or so), but the brochure for 2007 model doesn't have this accessory. Is it some aftermarket unit, or OEM? And how's the quality - any experiences?

Thanks in advance.

So far one dealer said it's a $900 addition to your nav and the otherquoted $250. Puts a lot of faith in LR dealers...

Aftermarket for the US, option in uk.
This should be plug and play for the US model.
Ask to see the entire kit that would be installed. If there are no plugs on the ends of the wires... that means your dealer is about to void the warranty on your brand spankin new range. [>:]

Changing things does not void the warranty if done correctly. If they wanted to do that they'd have to prove your change was the direct cause of a subsequent failure. Like converting to springs would void the air-suspension warranty but not affect the hubs, diffs, etc.
