Just bought a 2007 Range Rover last week and noticed that my when I look at the rear backup camera, it looks as if there are waves going up and down the image that are much worse when it is dark outside. I took it to the dealer and they said that is normal. I don't completely buy that explanation. Any thoughts from anyone?

 

I have an '07 also and that is pretty normal unless your lines are very severe. The Range Rover camera is not exceptional even in the day especially if you compare it to the Lexus cameras. It is definitely better than having nothing though.

One tip is to make sure you clean and dry the camera when washing just to make sure you get everything you can out of it.
