Default Battery light not going away!!!

New to the group so hello to everyone first! Writing from sunny Cabo San Lucas Mexico I purchased the truck used and having a few issues. To start the t-bolt on the + cable for the battery was missing. I replaced the whole fuse with a new one and I am still showing the battery light. I also get the suspension light which from all my reading should be the low battery wattage as well.

Thanks in advance. No Land Rover here so I have to troubleshot on my own. What would be my next step ?

P.S. Also bought a new battery so thats not the issue.

Most likely the alternator is dead. When running put a voltmeter on it and see if the voltage is dropping.

Mine stayed on for months after a new interstate battery and alternator. But I changed my starter and it went away and hasn't been back.

Well now thats a new one! I am also having issues with the suspension because of the bad voltage connection and sunroof failure. I will check the alternator and see where to go from there hang tight. JUST TO GET THE T-BOLT REPLACEMENT I HAD TO ORDER A WHOLE BATTERY POSITIVE CABLE FUSE BOX AND REPLACED THE WHOLE PART. 1 STEP AT A TIME

+1 on the alternator to fix low volts and battery light. I took mine into a local alt shop who said it was fine, went ahead and replaced it with a rebuilt Napa (USA) that ended up being a dud. I purchased a rebuilt denso alt from an ebay seller la-parts310 that finally ended my 2 month low voltage problems!

Also might check grounds and battery cables, lots of info on other posts.
