2005 LR3 - my wife's car. Her battery light came on and indications were that the alternator was faulty when i checked the codes with my LR iCarsoft. The following morning no lights came on turning the key. I charged the battery and still now electrics at all. We are over 80 miles from a dealer.

Any ideas welcome.

 

What is the battery voltage? You could have a faulty primary fuse. Its on the forward positive lead in a black plastic enclosure right next to the batter/positive terminal. Anyway, these types of fuses can develop a hairline crack internal and cause issues. Or it simply blew for some reason. I think its rated 400amp but I dont recall at the moment.
