Well checked the battery which whilst not perfect seems not to be the problem as the vehicle started once it decided it was ready to start. However hazards started and a bunch of faults showed up up on the dash.
I am going to have to get the HVAC module looked at as the AC cuts out then the vehicle will not start until the blower starts.

In fact, what you are describing does not rule out a low battery condition. And a failing HVAC module should be throwing codes. I'm actually expecting CAN bus network failure codes, too.
Actually, what are the codes being thrown at this moment?

Consider the following.
That there are significant demands on the electrical source even before starting the engine. That the starter is one on the most significant strains on the electrical source.
If the vehicle demands a 75 amp/hour, 690 amp battery and, you are supplying 1/2 of that; the starter will gladly drain the entire system to accomplish its task. (And in this drain, "depower" other modules.
You can help it along a bit with a poor battery, but it is nothing more than a meager workaround:
Turn on the ignition, do not start the vehicle.
Wait for all the startup noises to subside. (be certain other electrical drains like fans, stereos, bluetooth, etc are not being used.
Then, initiate the start process.
Then turn on the accessories you need.

Best of luck.
