I’m looking to do a drain and fill of coolant (I.e. “quick flush” and have never done it on a car with bleeder valves/pressurized system. Will I introduce a lot of air by a drain and fill and do I just keep the valves open and refill as the coolant goes down? It looks like there are two valves - one on the take and one going on the hose to the tank.

 

Just google LR3 coolant bleeding. There are numerous write-ups on how to do it right. FYI, all coolant systems are pressurized.

 

Thanks, videos don’t look any different than the other cars I’ve flushed but there is all this chatter in forums about bleeder valves on the LR3. I don’t see the valve on the hose like I see in some pictures in my LR3, just the one on the reservoir.

 

The small one at the very top behind the throttle body was often removed or in later years not even installed at factory.
