So you do have to drop everything and remove the heat shield and everything. Looks like they spliced the existing instead of running new up to the engine bay. Would that ok. The front looks ok. Past center of the car is where it’s gets rough!
Also where the second clip farthest from the splice is where mine is corroded and leaking.

Ok. Got the lines replaced, master cylinder replaced and everything back up I place. Go to bleed and I’m getting air. It’s not building pressure.
I plugged in my GAP tool to do the brake bleed process and it says “close right rear”. I’m not understanding what that means because there is nothing open in the right rear. When I hit continue it gives me “operation failed e36”.
I tried to go to iid tool diagnostics but their web site is not loading for sone reason.
Any thoughts?

I would say something is not correct in what you replaced or a joint is leaking or a flexible pipe

No worry’s brother I understand. I ended up just doing rear half. It was not to bad once I got the exhaust out of the way.

As for the bleeding I must have ended up rushing it. Friday evening I started over with the iid tool and it worked perfect. No problem! It’s up and running now. Only issue is now the CEL is on with being lean on banks 1&2 but I’m assuming that is due to it sitting for two weeks.
I’m doing a fuel treatment and 93 octane gas since I had ran a few tanks of 87 before it sat so it’s probably my fault.
