Broken grill tabs
Great idea and looks like it came from the factory like that.
I tried JB Weld Plastic weld on the lower tabs and broke first time I pushed the grill into the tabs. I might to see if I can find some kind of bond that is flexible or try Dakota's idea of bonding some type of metal support to the lower tabs.
Well I actually went with velcro along the bottom. Two strips on each side about five inches long that the grille then sits on. At top I did the P-Bod method. Drilled a couple holes and bingo, not more rattle of my grille.
JBWeld plastic weld did not hold bottom tabs. Cracked immediately!
I was thinking srew rivets on top so a simple Phillips could get them out instead of dragging my panel popper kit out every time I needed to remove the grill.
then Velcro the bottom

I just screwed in a self-tapping metal screw. Wham bam. Easy on and off and more secure than the original tabs. Doesn't look as nice as the black plastic rivets though, but a.) it's not visible until you pop the hood, and b.) this ain't no garage queen...
Damn, those look dope (sorry, GenXer). I may give those as try. Just need to see where I could slip on the clips at
