Good day all. I just joined to ask a few questions. We are looking at a used LR3. It has 105,000 miles, appears very clean, carfax records show almost all maint history since it was new being done at LR dealers. 4.4 V8 in it. One minor LR quarter panel accident in its history.

Anything I should look at particularly? I am aware of the Air susp concerns at least, that AS problems can be pricey to fix/repair. (I once had an 05 Touareg with AS....VW electrical gremlins are nightmareish creatures).

It doesn't look like it ever spent anytime offroad, the first ten years of its life were as a corporate owned vehicle.

They are asking $7400 for it, which I hope to work down a bit.

Annnnnddddd i just saw the sticky with the pre-purchase checklist....

 

Price seems decent. Go through that list. Water entry is really the biggest issue that can result in a huge long list of repairs/issues. The rest are pretty much fixable.
