Please let us know what you find. Would be good to have another data point either way.

Sure. I also read some articles of similar symptoms when refrigerant was on the low side. I'm from Toronto Canada, but already had plans to head to Buffalo,NY this weekend. I'll let you know by next Monday.

Well mine is just the opposite. When I first turn it on it blows just fresh air. After a while and turning it on and off, fiddling with the temperature, econ, etc. or sometimes just doing nothing it will start blowing cold. When it's blowing cold air it's really cold so I don't think it's the refrigerant. Any ideas what it might be?

I bought the gauges (with 20% discount). My low side would go from 30 (for 2 seconds) then to 70 PSI and the high side stayed at 100 PSI.

Ack. Can't give much advice there. The little A/C pro chart says that if your low side pressure is reading high, but your high side pressure is reading low, then you may have a bad compressor.

I have no experience in that realm though, so maybe somebody else on here can give some advice.

Hi all, New the the forum.
I'm looking for a couple of Schrader valves for my 2008 LR2. Love the truck, any good Land Rover parts sites on the web? The part at the dealership comes with the hoses and is over $700. Ouch. Any good places to troll for parts Please.
Thanks

So almost 1 year later I still have the same issue. This time I took it to Land Rover dealership to get an AC check. They diagnosed it and found that the problem is with th Evap Tenperature sensor. They said it needs to be replaced along with the valve. The estimate to repair is $3400CAD. Part is about $550 and the rest is labour.

Can anyone give me instructions on how to replace it? The guy said it's behind the console somewhere.
