Would like to add a final long overdue update. The problem as I mentioned was due to the Evap sensor. The Land Rover mechanic recommended me to his friends shop. I took it to his shop and he replaced the Evap sensor for $650. He didn’t have to remove the entire console as Land Rover said was required. A year later and it’s still working fine.
