I have been looking for an LR3 for my son to take to school in Montanna. So when you put the word out sometimes you get more responses than you want or need.
So my friend at my local British shop told me about this decked out 06 LR3 HSE, I called the owner and his daughter had it at school at Cal. It sounded too good to be true, he sent me PDF of $24,000 in upgrades. After many conversations, I agreed to buy it for $10k. It has 190,000 needs two front tires and the A/C isn't getting cold but it has pressure. After seeing it I agreed to pay him $9500 for the things I found. Here is the list of upgrades and photos. Oh and bonus it had 15 gallons of gas in the external tanks. Now my son needs to pick one. I know which one I like.

 

Wow....great find and that's an interesting build. I don't recognize those sliders or running boards (hard to tell what they are from the photo) but it's build for overlanding, for sure.

Your other post mentions a concern about fuel economy, so it's an easy choice. You keep this one!

I think my son likes the tricked-out one best. I just hope the A/C not working is too big of an issue.

 

Good looking ride, your son should be pretty pleased. I have same year LR3 and in the process of a build out. Be curious about the dual batter and ARB onboard compressor. I am looking to install second battery that will not be charged off alternator but rather a 100mh Renergy solar panel.
