Just picked up my new (used) Certified 06 LR3 yesterday. Fully loaded HSE with HD. 24kMi!!!

When I was just going thru the paperwork this am, I realize that after the original manufacturers warranty ends in 2 years and I go into the 2 years/25k of extended warranty, I have to pay a deductible of $100 per visit!?!? Does this sound correct? It was stamped on the paperwork in black ink?

Can any of you out there with new (used) Certified Land Rovers, let me know if this is the same deal you got or was I rooked???

I have never heard mention of a deductable when I have been to several dealerships, looked at the litterature or in online forums, for that matter.

Curious to know please!

LR extended warranties have $100 deductibles.... wait till you have a few things to fix. It a $100 deduc per visit, not per repair.

Most repairs required on any Land Rover end up with astronomical dollar ammounts at the end. When you see the actual bill, you'll be glad your part was only 100

 

I believe it's $50 for the similar program at BMW, so must be a common practice. And yes, I agree it's pennies compared to the total repair bill $$$.
