With a piece of hose and a flange for the air box this looks like it can easily be waterproofed IMO

With all the electronics I'm not sure how deep you want to dunk the lr3

Wow! Some ugly new Chinese thing just popped up on Amazon for the same price, and I thought that was the one this thread was talking about. I almost didn't even look.

The one I saw was totally generic, round tubes, flat sides, looked like a smoothed-over home depot project.

This thing lookes like the LR unit!

I was just checking prices and STILL saw some over $850!

Let us know if you notice anything of concern. I'm going to jump on this ASAP.

I feel like the 28" stock number probably has more to do with the modules located near the pax door / floor area than the intake (which is like a foot above that?! lol) so yeah I feel the same way!

It'll help the zombie apocalypse look I'm going for though!

Thank Tom R! He is the one who found it on ebay. BTW- went off-roading for 4 days and had zero issues. It didn't vibrate loose, etc.

Got it installed today...
A bit of a PITA but looks good...
Nice quality and fit...
I did as Eric said to do the screws amd nuts into the fender. The little screw things that are supplied dont really look as they would hold.
Also i did not use the top metal bracket to attach to the piler, i just did a self tapping screw from inside the snokel. I could not get the metal bracket to line up so i went without it and works great anyways.

I little tip Eric gave me was to crazy glue the nut and washer to the inner of the fender after you drill the holes.
It was great advice. Once you let it dry you can start to screw it in and when you have enough of the screw in you can actually access the nut by opening the hood and right by the hindge there is space to use a long 10mm wrench (most use one of those that have a big angle or curved.)

After all it looks good and def worth it.

So I talked to the guy a few weeks ago and he said he'd message me when it was available.

Just checked and there's now one left - so I finally pulled the trigger and ordered it.

Been about a year since I did anything to this (the lift / wheel & tires) so it's it'll be nice to do a little upgrading.

My LiquiMoly synthetic oil came in, plus inner and outer tie rods (somehow got OE TRW inner kits and Delphi outers for $110 TOTAL.

Should be a solid Sat worth of tinkering coming up.

FYI, I've got tie rod removal/installation tools and live pretty close to you if you need them. But, I think you may have said you work in or have access to a shop before, so you may have all the tools you need.

Autohausaz was the best place I found for OE TRW tie rods.
