I think spacers are always a great idea, with that said I run those size tires and used the GAP tool to deflate my system and it was movable - I would not say drivable since being on stop never is but it was not bound up. I will add that is ANYONE runs large tires, you MUST make sure your suspension mechanics are up to par. You dont want to toss large heavy tires on bushings that have failed or are about to as you will just end up with more issues.

So the smaller the rim size the larger the sidewall depth which is what you want we you want/need to air down on the trail, which is why aftermarket companies specifically make 18" rims to fit the D4 that will clear the larger calipers.
In Australia the D4 came in 4 engine variants , 2.7 TDV6 which can take 17" factory rims and the 3.0 TDV6, 5ltr V8 and 3.0SCV6 which all require factory 19" rims or aftermarket 18's.
30 - 18 =12 which gives a 6" sidewall height.
Boom. I always love learning cold hard facts about things, even when it means humbling myself publicly with an incorrect assumption of knowledge lol. Thanks.
