Coils suspension experienced need your input ;)
Ok I decided to purchase the BA coil conversion kit with the 2" lift for my LR3 V6.
I know I know air ride is better but Im just about done with the Fault and $$ diagnostics ...besides the truck has 125K miles and the maintenance on the suspension is due.
Im going to have a local auto shop do the conversion and would like to have any advice from expert and experienced to help the process / make the process easier.
I read on the forum that some ppl disconnected the 4 eight sensors for some reason ...also is the Module going to keep the amber light on the dash but Not the red noisy red one correct? Im not looking to hard wire the Module but I dont want the red susp. light coming on with the annoying ding every two minutes
)
Thanks for all your help
Cheers

Not sure you wouldn't wanna hard wire module...
If you don't need 2" (Because you have V6 model) do the standard one.
Once again.... It retains a smooth ride.
I unplugged my 4 height sensors (Followed by hard reset) because they were sending wrong information to computer causing ABS to engage during cornering thru canyon.

not sure what u mean by wouldn't wanna hard wire module ? should I or shouldn't I ? ...just dont think I'll need it UNLESS the noisy susp. lights dont stop ..then I will pay the extra labor to have it hard wire it...

while Im waiting fot the Coil Conversion kit w/2" lift from AB I have a few questions for pple who has done the conversion already:
Is it ok to disconnect and remove the compressor after coil conversion? AB is saying yes but I'd like to hear from members who actually done it
Also if anyone can explain the difference between hard wiring the orange Module or just plugging in it in detail I would appreciate it.
Cheers

Im going to seal and cover all exposed air lines ends and plugs to protect them from contamination but I really need to remove and return that $600 compressor since I wont be using it AT all...any thoughts?
