Default Control arm replacement cost

What would be a fair price to have this work done at an Indy?

$50.00

Kidding... need more details. ALL the arms? Just one? OEM parts? I mean one arm, a from lower for example, could take a couple hours to cut out and replace with new. Not to mention the alignment.

Tks. Hearing a clunk in the rear. Will be taking it in by was just looking for what kind of financial pain I’d be looking at.

Clunk in the rear could be swaybar bushings, too.

Yeah, indeed a clunk could be other things. If the upper rear arm, then both should be replaced. If they are at all familiar with the Rover, then the cost will be two arms and likely a new upper rose joint on each side - assuming that bolt is frozen inside, which happens a lot. The upper inside bolts probably need to be cut. Since shop prices vary so much, it is hard to give a number but over $500 I would think and probably a little over $1k.

Tks. I’ll be calling a shop next week to make an appointment to have it looked at as well as a good look around. The truck is new to me so think it’s probably a good idea to know if there are any items that need addressed. The shop advertises itself as a Land Rover Indy shop so hopefully they know what they are doing.
