I just replace the inline T bleeder with an inline metal connector and call it good. I recently had my reservoir develop a crack (at the start of summer) and I'm just glad I caught it leaking before I hit the road towing home my 99 D2.

 

Yea that is what I was reading. So clearing codes- when I read the fault list, there were no codes. So I thought that was odd. Drove it around a little with the Misfire counter on the the Live Values of the GAP tool. 1 misfire on Cylinder 5, 10 min of driving. Ordered a set of ignition coils from Atlantic British- they are original, the coils, though replaced the spark plugs at 85k. Hopefully I will be able to at least replace the misfired 5 cylinder before the Mid-Atlantic rally. Its funny how my LR3 decides to not work well just before we are going to do Land Rovery things in a specific Land Rover focused event!

 

so cleaned throttle body this AM and ran it with the GAP monitoring the misfire counter- and yea- Cylinder 5 was causing havoc- definitely need to replace.

 

swapped the ignition coil pack from Cylinder 5 from my 2007 RRS into the LR3 4.4 and misfires gone....so that seems to be the issue (should knock on wood!).
