I love these mouse over wording ads. A volkswagon ad pops up when you mouse over cooling system... duh.. anything for a buck.

 

As aforementioned by Savannah Buzz, use Havoline XLC coolant. I've done multiple coolant flushes on my LR3 and I use Havoline XLC per the manual. I had to call half a dozen auto parts stores before I found one that stocks it though: AutoZone.

 

My autozone didn't have the havoline extended life coolant, but a suggestion on discoweb was that O'reilly had it, and the closest one did.

 

I had to drive to an AZ about 20 miles away for it. The local AZs didn't stock it either. Glad you were able to find it at O'Reillys though.

 

Dex-cool ZEREX is what our LR dealer sells ,if they run out of OEM extended life coolant.Specifications for a lr3 fluid are the same as D2.

 

A guy on another forums said that his dealership always uses dexcool and only uses the OE stuff for warranty repairs.
