Crank but rough start issue
Hi Everyone
Have a 06 LR3 4.0 V6. Last week it gave me an issue where I went to start it and it would just crank but not turn over. If I hit the gas the rover sputters to life and then sits at 1k RPM during idle. Every single light is on the dash. HDC, transmission, parking brake, suspension and special program’s fault. The truck is in limp mode and won’t go out of first gear. Replaced the battery as the battery was getting weak, cleared all the codes and went to turn over and still having the same issue. The codes it is giving me is a Generator Terminal F code (aftermarket alternator since 2017), coolant temp sensor and then the modules for the trans are giving me lost communication codes. I’ve tried resetting all those and nothing has seemed to work. Starting to think maybe a rodent chewed up a wire?
Wondering if anyone has had similar issues or knows what/where I can check out ?

I had a similar issue where a rat had chewed through the transmission temperature wire (located under the engine cover and run on the top left side of the engine bay (when facing the engine from the front of the car). The rat made a nest out of the foam on the beauty cover and chewed up the wires next to it. May not be the same issue but its only 4 fasteners to take out and easy to check.
