Maybe you do have a bad wiper motor. What part is rattling. Does it do that if they are turned off?

I got my replacement mirror in, fitted and good to go.. It was actually nice you could order just the glass.

Here are the mirror housing assemblies. Less expensive and genuine.

Ya the motors probably done. I went in and unplugged it and now it doesn't do that rattling noise when I start the car anymore.

Glad you got you mirror fixed man.

oh and for the other guys, I was told to check the battery first, I did a volt test and when the car was off it was around 12 volts and when it was running it was around 14.14 volts so I dunno if that's good or bad, I was hoping it was lower because that would most likely be what's causing the warnings but i was told 14.14 volts should be good.

I just didn't want to buy a brand new battery and get stuck with it
If that wasn't the problem.

I will try the brake light switch next. And if not then I'll tell the mechanic about the sunroof leakage issue.

All my issues have been from a long term sunroof leak before I owned it, repairs needed on corroded splices in main harness, pass floor, tug on wires covered in blue tape

How long had it sat after charging? In my opinion, it is below the level it needs to be, that might explain the random messages. The 14.1 is about right for charging. I start getting random errors at 12.4. You might put a charger on it, like a ctek and charge it through a cycle, let it sit an hour or so and check it again. There is a load all the time, so even a brand new battery won't give you 12.8 for long, typically 12.6 to 12.8 is what I see.

I actually didn't charge it. My brother in law just checked the voltage with his digital volt meter tester. So those were the numbers without a charge.

Also weird thing happened yesterday. I started the suv and for some reason no warning lights came on and the terrain controls were working and then about 20 seconds later the warnings came back and terrain wasn't working.
I'm going to use that as a sign of hope and not a major issue.

Update*

I haven't done any work yet but once again all things were working yesterday when I started the car except this time it lasted about 5 minutes. And then the ding sound comes on and a couple lights on the dash and then loud humming and vibration which I assume is the suspension and then the terrain selection doesn't work so I'm taking that as a hopeful sign.

*Worse Update

I just ordered my brake light switch an as im waiting for delivery, I had an audio guy install a double din deck into my LR3.

And some of you were spot on, under the passenger floor mat was soaked and then side panels of passenger door and especially back door has about an inch of water just sitting there.
I obviously have a sunroof drain clog.
So I need help on fixing this.

Hi Tom, looks like thats the exact cause of my problem.
I read in this thread that there is a sticky on the fix in the tech posts but I cannot find it.
Please guide me on what I need to do to fix this asap.
I have an inch of water siting in underneath my side panels and water under my passenger floor mat.

Thank you

Open sunroof flip up the air deflector as in the tech section , you will see the drain holes in corners , if you have compressed air that's great otherwise use the tech sections directions

You can confirm they are open by puoring water into the corners of the sunroof pan and look for it to come out at the bottom of door jamb/fender crease

Then pull floor mats , kick panels and sill, pull back carpet sop up water, squeeze it out of carpet best u can, maybe use hair dryer, it may take days to realty dry out with carpet peeled up, realy squeeze out carpets good and sop up all water

Just drying all this out could solve the problem, once dry if still have an issue find wires with blue tape, lite tug on wires if they come apart and are corroded you will need to make repairs, depends how long water has been there
