Diesel in petrol engine

Kia ora people.
As the title suggests, I made a booboo and put Around 6-7ltr $20 worth @ $2:30ltr

I got about 1km up the road when I realized what I had done and the LR3 came to a splattering halt. Anyway, my question/s is this, where is the hose that feeds petrol to the engine? Or, does the petrol tank have a bung and if so where? Local garage has quoted 5 - 6 hunderd to pump it out, but me being a stubborn cheap ***** and not to mention my wife wanting to string me up by the *****, I would love nothing more then to prove her wrong and save the day and our bank balance and get it done without using our savings. Any help or advice would be huge. Thanks.
