Default Disco 3/4 - space behind 3rd row seats

Hi all - new to this forum! We are just about to buy a new car for our family of 7 (2 adults, 5 kids between ages of 5 and 13), and are considering the Discovery 3 or 4 because of the claimed comfort of the 7 seats. We are reasonably remote country, and there are no local Discos, so am buying a bit 'blind'. What I would like to ask is how much room have you found that you have behind the 3rd row of seats? It doesn't look too much from photos I have seen - ie could you fit a small esky? How about bags of shopping? We are losing our company Prado, and need to replace with our own vehicle - the Prado I couldn't even get my shopping behind the 3rd row. We are also looking at Landcruiser 200 series which would certainly get the esky and the shopping in, but I must say that on most counts (including the all important price) I am preferring the look of the Discovery, so would love to hear your opinions on how much room you have found it to have when all seats are occupied. Many thanks!

This Disco 3/4 has the best 3rd row of any I have been in. 2 6'+ people can fit back there in comfort.

But regarding the space behind, it is a bit small and triangular. So basically maybe 12" at the bottom that goes to 0 by about 20" high. Enough to fit a small bag/groceries, but nothing more than that.
