Default Discovery 3 2005

Hi i am new to this forum as i just bought a Discovery 3 for the wife. We have a problem with it but it only happens now and then, but more so when it's hot. It will all ways start 1'st thing, but after a long trip if you turn it off and try to restart it, it won't start. The immobilizer light on the dash stays flashing every 3 seconds. Take the key out and put it back in still the same. After about 10/15 times of trying it will start, or leaving it for a sort time it will start. Can any 1 help please as it is doing are head in as we really like the truck and don't want to get rid of it. Thanks Dave.

If you want a trouble-free "fire and forget missile" type car for the wife...the LR3 ain't it. Right now getting rid of it sounds like a smart move.

I'm thinking that your Inertia Switch (or whatever it's called) is the culprit. I've never had this issue though (knock wood) so I'm not sure.

I don't have my manual handy so I simply Googled it. Try this:

Think we have got to the bottom of this problem. It was the fuse box at fault.

For future help of folks -- Can you expand on what was wrong with the fuse box and what you did to fix it?
