Default Door Sensor - Bypass?

The front passenger door sensor seems to be working intermittently. Driving down the road I got a front passenger door open message and about once a day the alarm goes off due to the same door. Is there an easy way to bypass the sensor? With the hood sensor you can unplug it and put a jumper wire in, I'm hoping there is a similar simple solution here as well. I haven't been able to find a good answer and was hoping to get an idea before i pull the door apart. The latch still functions fine.

I have/had the same issue and I was also wondering about a bypass... until you consider that the sensor "sees" the door open and stops the air suspension from adjusting while the door is open.

Warning/disclaimer: This should NOT be used as an end all for anyone to raise their suspension and then crawl under their truck with the door open without the appropriate jacks stands/safety measures. You could wake up dead.

I sprayed a little WD40 on the door latch mechanism and opened and closed the door a few times and surprise!.. no more door open message. I'm sure it'll come back though. I'm not looking forward to a latch replacement. I took an LR3 door apart for parts (mostly for the latch I'm avoiding) and cussed most of the time working on it.

I studied the wiring diagram a bit and found where the door ajar sensor wire enters the back of the CJB. I'm wondering if you can splice into the wire where it comes out of the CJB and just ground it. Based on the wiring diagrams it seems like this should work but is the CJB smarter than me?

I don't know if simply grounding it out is a good idea. Not sure if the "brains" are simply looking for a switch open/closed value. We'll see if someone comes to your rescue with a definitive answer.
One thing I do know... I'd rather replace the door latch than the CJB.

I'm hoping someone smarter than me can confirm that too. I was thinking of using a t tap on the wire so it's easy to undo. The only trick is it's one of the wires that goes into the back of the CJB so you have to remove the whole thing which is a pain on it's own.

I just sprayed some silicone lube in there so we'll see if that does anything. I thought the micro switches were sealed (or supposed to be at least).

They probably are but i think its the mechanism that depresses the switch that gets gummed up.
