I hope everyone is doing well.


I have a 2005 LR3 that has an issue with the drivers side door exterior handle.


When I lock the doors with the fob, or even manually from the inside, I can open the drivers side door from the outside handle.


I have also noticed that the alarm icon / blinking red light on the dash is still activated.

I just relaxed the battery and put in a new alarm switch as well.

What is allowing me to open the drivers side door from the exterior handle even though it is locked?
