1. You don't really get "slidy" using the EPB in snow. I've done this many times and imo the fact that it keeps you in a straight line is the most impressive part. Did you add steering input? Perhaps that is a factor.

2. You can't fully disable TC, but turning off DSC greatly reduces TC input.

I have a TC button, but I guess I dont know if it totally turns it off.

I know how to turn off TC on D2, simply turn engine off with CDL engaged and turn back on.

Using E Brake for anything other than a Starsky Hutch is blasphemous

I think you are referring to the DSC button.
