Engine vibration on 6500 RPM - LR3 2005
Once I want to push the accelerator to the maximum
Here is the result
2005 LR3 LHD
Transmission - P (parking)
Press accelerator to maximum
Rather than 8000 RPM as per seen in dashboard, only around 6500-6700 RPM maximum can be achieved and engine start vibrate, is it normal?
If not what to do?
Thanks mate

My 1988 Pontiac (Daewoo) LeMans had a rev limiter at 6k, and that car was a complete piece of ****. My Taurus SHO has a rev limiter at 7250 RPM. My motorcycle has a rev limiter at 12k RPM.
The LR3 definitely has a rev limiter.
Logic says it would have a rev limiter, but... Can't say I've ever tried, nor would I want to.
To the original post -- Yes, at over 6000 rpms, any v8 engine should have some vibrations, now knock it off.
