Default Failing smog test on 2005 LR3

Testing facility flunks my Rover because their testing machine tells them...(cat is not ready, evap system not ready, O2 sensor not ready, egr flow not ready). What is this about? Check engine light is not on. What is the problem?

The testing facility sounds like Captain Obvious stating that something has failed but they don't know what?
I'm so glad we don't have emissions testing here in Michigan. I know that I wouldn't pass the test.

Not much help, I know. Hopefully things will get better soon and someone will come along and point you in the right direction.

Good luck!

Did you reset a Check Engine Light recently?

If so, you typically need to drive a few hundred miles with varying speeds to put these system checks in the "Ready" state.

yeah, as mentioned your readiness monitors are not set. Any decent smog place checks that before testing your vehicle.

Clearing a code or disconnecting the battery will cause them to not be ready until you finish complete drive cycles. In CA all need to be ready except for the evap monitor to pass
