Default catalyst and oxy sens monitors

morning...trying to get all sensors ready for inspection.
have 2 to go, catalyst and oxygen sensor.
does anyone know for sure if the engine has to be under 60 degrees for these tests to pass?.
i would imagine that the catalitic converer has to be up to operating temp.
done 170 miles since last check engine reset.
all monitors were ready with no check engine light before last reset

If the engine temp needs to be below 60*F to pass a emissions test then their parking lot would be full of that were parked from the night before.

I am not sure I fully understand your question.
If you have no check engine light and your OBDII system is "ready" you should be fine.

the drive cycle information says the coolant has to be under 60? degrees for the drive cycle monitor testing. Meaning (i think) that if the coolant is HOT , no matter how much driving i do, the catalyst etc monitors will not become "ready"
sorry for my confusing posts

To set a drive cycle you must start with a stone cold engine.
There is a specific driving technique that must be used to set the drive cycle.
Otherwise if you cannot do that then you just need to log a weeks worth of normal driving.
The drive cycle is in the RAVE repair manual somewhere, I have seen it before.
It is something like start with engine cold, idle for 15 sec, drive moderately upto 35, stop floor it to 60, stop, idle...its long and I do not remember exactly how it goes.
But I am sure you could Google it.
