Fault Code question P2098-00
could this be caused by overfilling it, i.e. topping off the tank when you fuel it up
Hello!
I have fault code that keeps popping up on my 2007 LR3 w/99,812 miles. I have not had any major engine issues, but after a wheeling event and long drive the P2098-00 Post-Catalyst fuel trim system too lean - bank 2 popped up. I cleared it, and drove home, no performance issues or reduction in fuel economy. It has popped up again over and over, so I replaced the Mass Air Sensor for good measure and ran some Fuel injector cleaner through the gas. The error still persists as well as a P0171-00 & P0174-00 System Too Lean banks 1 & 2. I am not sure what is going on, as there is no rough idle or performance reduction.
Is it the O2 sensors? Any suggestions would be great.
Thanks!
