Default front CV half-shafts

Hello yet again.

I'm curious what brand/where people have gotten front half shafts. I'm beginning to hear some ticking/popping from my driver's front and suspect the half shaft may be the cause. Looking on line I find half shafts from $70 to $700. That's quite a spread!

Since this truck sees heavy off-road use I hesitate to buy simply on price alone. But I'm equally hesitant to drop needless money on factory original parts if others have had good results with aftermarket.

As always, suggestions and input are welcome.

Good point. I was planning to have the wheel off the truck this weekend anyway to check on the height sensor so I'll be sniffing around the bearing at that time.
