Front parking sensor question
I had a body shop replace my front grill (cracked) and painted the bumper.
It looks like new but now my front parking sensors don't beep. Do they have to pull the entire bumper to plug them in? (In case they forgot to plug them in when they put it back together)
They fix one thing and break another.

Edit.. yes there is a amber light on the dash above the radio. Just noticed when I go into my garage or back up neither the front or rear are working. Are they daisy chained? Meaning one breaks they all break?
The only thing they did was replace the front grill and painted the bumper. I assume they pulled the bumper to paint it and somehow goofed up the front sensors.

There is a parking sensor button on the dash panel on the left side of the hazards switch. Is that illuminated flashing?
im guessing they did not reconnect the connector for the entire sensor harness. You can access it by removing the passenger headlight.

I checked the dash and there is a yellow light above the radio that is on and beeps once when I start it.
Yea while fooling around trying to get it working I backed into my kids Chevy Volt putting a nice dent in the bumper from my trailer hitch.
She says its the Body shops fault since if they did not mess up my sensors I would not have been trying to fix them and back into her car in the drive.
Damn Domino effect. I guess I got so use to them working and beeping when close to object I goofed.
The body shop said they could not figure out what is wrong.
At first they said no malfunctions and no bad codes. Turns out they never looked at the blinking amber light above radio.
They tracked it to a issue with one sensor on the front bumper but don't understand why that would make all the sensors (including rear) not to function.
Is that how they work? One goes bad and they all stop working?
Anyway they will need it longer to figure it out.
