I have a '05 LR3 that apparently needs a third new fuel tank. The dealer replaced the tank last year under a recall, and now 14 months later I have the same issue with the fuel gauge not working. It is a faulting sender unit in the tank. But, Landrover has once again redesigned the fuel tank for the LR3. Now that I am 2 months outside of the 12 month parts and labor warranty, the dealership is trying to charge me $3000.00 for the new tank and sender unit.

Any thoughts here...suggestions!?!?!?!?
