Typically in 350 range for me.. but will all depend on what history is saved from previous driving style

Used to be 360 with my stock size tires. Now, 300-320 for my 33x12.5 Nitto Mud Grapplers.

I would be curious -- Do these benefit from the command shift mode like the Discovery 2's did in "sport"? They got better fuel econ due to quicker downshifting, as I recall.

I'd say , I always get a better mileage , when in "Command Shift " . It allows me to stay longer in 6 th gear , when in hilly terrain.
By the way, that 515 was recorded after a almost 20 miles driven already , sitting in moderately slow moving traffic, so I guess ,not too bad for an old friend.

I've been around 360 and my average is usually 16.5 to 17.5. In the winter it dropped to 14 mpg. I use 93 octane always

Cuz that is about what I get. I don't measure in KMs but in time. So 5 hours of driving at 100km/h is right in this ballpark. And that is my average with a 2007 LR3 SE with the V6 with 33 inch Nitto TRAIL Grapplers and cargo.

also, as far as I can tell, most people report the same range (fuel efficiency) for both the V6 and the V8. Likely due to the extra weight of the truck in the V8 format (larger engine, larger brake rotors, calipers and pads, etc.)
