I got one as well. Making a list of what I want to do with it. If I only move the clock to the drivers dash it will be worth it. Thank you for the heads up. Phil

I'm curious what you come up with.

I know everyone raves about this tool and says it's a "must own", but beyond disabling the parking sensors and maybe adding 0.5" of lift, I can't help but think that a $400-$500 tool would just sit in my toolbox. I read the feature list yesterday and didn't come up with a lot of things that I'd use it for, and certainly not more than maybe once or twice. I haven't found a big need to read codes at home as my local shop tends to do this for me whenever I stop in with a six pack in-hand...

(That said, I really want to disabling the parking sensors without pulling the fuse...)

Works great for calibrating steering, you could also put it in tight tolerance mode before you go get an alignment, don't have to bring it to Landrover to do that anymore, enable nav on the move, change your own tranny oil and read what the actual temp is of the oil without having to use a thermometer gun. Adjust and recalibrate suspension, epb adjustment when you change out your ebrake pads, that alone pays for the unit and then some.

Just a few I've done
Disable your TPM sensors when they fail but your tire pressures are fine
Reset transmission adaptations
Reset engine adaptations
Parking Brake unlock

"enable nav on the move" -- what is that?

And what are engine/tranny adaptations?

Thanks for the input!

Enable nav on the move is if you have the navigation system in your Lr3 you can enter addresses while you're moving, no need to stop. Tranny adaptations can be entered in your Lr3 after you change the filter and oil. It helps get rid of the California stop and go hesitation and resets your tranny to learn your new driving habits. If you google it there is a lot of info on it. See link.
