Default Have your valve stems ever become loose?

All 4 of my valve stems were 1-1.5 full turns loose (based on factory torque spec). Has this ever happened to your vehicle? Please vote in my poll. Thanks!

Just to be clear...you are referring to the stems themselves and not the stem CAPS, right?

Factory TPMS
So the nut on the aluminum stem was loose.
Correct?

Yes, stems, not caps.

Yes, factory TPMS and nut was loose.

Those should be checked at least every tire change.
More often if you prefer.

Not on my LR3 as I had them removed almost immediately when I bought it. I did have one come loose enough on my wife’s XC90 Sport to have the tire go nearly flat.

A small, small drop of non-permanent loc-tite.
Torque to spec.
