Hello I am currently trying to upgrade my head unit in my 2006 lr3 se. I have the cubby above my stereo no nav screen. I bought the axxess lr90093 harness but one of the harnesses in my stock stereo has no where to plug into. On top of that, when I reinstalled my stock stereo it has no power at all. Can anybody help me out with this?
Aftermarket harness has no socket for the small auxiliary input plug as i also found out which wasn't an issue since i didn't have the factory aux input. I see you have the fibre optic system ( most) so you need to pickup a separate power input for the head unit, piggy back off one the 12V sockets.
I have a pioneer touch screen in place of my oem radio. I used a harness from spiral audiio and it worked great. The only thing is I can't tell time on the display in the guage panel.
I DO plan on installing this pioneer hu in the cubby instead and running it stand alone. Completely separate from the oem radio. I am installing 2 amplifiers. One for the door and one for the subwoofer I am installing too.

As soon as you replace the factory head unit you lose the clock on the dash which is n problem since new units will have a clock, only way to keep it is to do as you plan or keep part of the old stereos PCB connected and hidden behind the dash.

Do you know why my stock stereo won't turn on after I hooked it back up?
It's all plugged in, I even pulled it back out and double checked. I think I'm just going to take it to an audio shop. Do you happen to know of ot would be better to take it to a car audio ship or a land rover shop?

Definitely not an LR workshop, aren't you replacing it ? Honestly i wouldn't bother putting the original back in.
